NTMA Membership

Kent Mold & Mfg is proud to announce membership in the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA). Since 1943, the NTMA has been the leading voice of the precision machining industry in the United States. Today, the National Tooling & Machining Association has nearly 2,000 members representing nearly $40 billion dollars in annual sales.

Like Kent Mold & Mfg, many members are privately owned independent businesses. The products and services they provide are absolutely vital to the nation’s economy. They serve a broad range of  industries from aerospace to electronics to nuclear power. NTMA is organized into nearly 50 local chapters throughout the country. Kent Mold & Mfg is a member of the Akron which serves a large part of Ohio.

NTMA’s mission is to help members achieve profitable growth and business success in a global economy through advocacy, advice, education, networking, information, programs and services.

Kent Mold and the National Tooling & Machining Association share a common vision for robust American manufacturing and values such as ethical behavior, commitment to excellence and the continued development of a skilled workforce. To aid in workforce development, NTMA setup the National Tooling & Machining Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit designed to fund manufacturing education. It also helped create the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) with public partnership that provides metalworking training at the high school and college levels and through apprenticeships.

As one of Ohio’s leading machine and mold shops, Kent Moldl’s membership in NTMA makes perfect business sense. NTMA gives us an important legislative voice, expands our marketing reach and the tools to take our machining business to the next level.
